Mini-manifesto (or All About What I do)
A theater is a space in time, where people gather to bear witness to events: a theater of war, a lecture hall, a movie theater, an operating theater, etc. I seek to make events that build community and encourage participation in an inviting way; I seek to cultivate a sense of agency, guiding participants toward a more pleasantly engaged future.
There is a theater as large as everything we see, hear and feel – that surrounds each of us and follows us wherever we go, as if stapled to our collar. Because I have a love/hate relationship with escapism, I want to make mesmerizing environments, which engage people so much in the actual world, that they render themselves obsolete – to make the world our stage.
